Podcast Help
"Podcasts" are audio files that you may
may download to your computer, and from there you may listen to them, download
them to a portable music player or burn them to a CD. You may chose to "subscribe"
to a podcast, which means your computer will be made aware when a new "episode"
is available. Some software will even automatically download new episodes
as they become available and add them to your music library. (Examples of
software listed below are provided as a service to the user and do not represent
endoresements.)
Play or subscribe to the podcast using iTunes
- Arguably the most elegant way to use a podcast
is to use iTunes to go directly to the Advent podcast listing on the
iTunes Music Store by clicking on this logo on the Podcasts page:
- Download free iTunes (Macintosh
and Windows)
Play or subscribe to the podcast using your your browser
or feed aggregator
- You can click on this logo on the Podcasts page
to
instruct your browser or feed aggregator to open a page that will show
all of the currently posted episodes for the podcast. You may then click
on the icons of the podcasts to hear them. You may also subscribe from
the page in your browser or feed aggregator and it will make you aware
when new episodes are available.
