Organization Church of the Advent is a parish in the Diocese of Missouri, which is one of the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the USA. The Episcopal Church is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion. In addition, the Episcopal Church is in full communion with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The Diocese of Missouri The Diocese of Missouri is one of 113 dioceses in the Episcopal Church. It covers the 56 eastern counties of Missouri with 49 congregations (33 parishes and 16 smaller missions). The Bishop of Missouri is Rt. Rev. George Wayne Smith. The Diocesan offices are located in historic Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Saint Louis.
